Lovely small room, comfy beds, fantastic location and the best breakfast ever!
had a very enjoyable long weekend and was made better by a clean spacious room, comfortable bed and fantastic breakfast ! tasty and plentiful. No complaints at all, just how a B&B should be run! Thanks Jenny
Jenny is a lovely Lady who spoke to us every time we came back in. We had everything we needed and the b&b was lovely and clean. Being there with 2 teenagers Jenny was very understanding. Brian cooked us a lovely breakfast. I'd be happy to stay again.
Very welcoming landlady Jenny who was lovely. Rooms excellent and very comfy bed. Parking was easy just outside. Best breakfast ever and filled us up for the day. Would recommend 100%. Home from home.

What can I say about the Melbourne. I first stayed here almost 20yrs ago. I haven't been for almost 12yrs but jenny hasn't altered her hospitality at all. If anyone wants to experience proper guest house hospitality then stay here. Lovely. Thanks for a lovely stay jenny x
Jenny and Brian were very welcoming . This was a lovely one night stay for me and the wife. Parking off road on their drive was a nice bonus . The rooms were very clean , Jenny definitely spends a lot of time on this and it pays off . This lovely couple are extremely experienced owners of this quietly located guest house . Don't expect ultra modern mod cons in the rooms or plush power showers . But rather practical shower/bath facilities that more than adequately do the job . The mattress on the bed was lovely . We had a long good uninterrupted night's sleep . Very very minimal road noise. I am an extremely light sleeper but I found no issues here at all !! Also Jenny does a nice breakfast . Plenty of selection . Although my only rather small niggle . Was the selection of sausage . Wouldn't be our choice usually. But it was in with the very reasonable price of the room , so please don't let that very small thing put you off. It's just a sausage after all , and it's just our preferred taste. Location of the guest house is also excellent. So we would definitely book up again if we are in the area . All round 5 ⭐. Thank you for having us Jenny & Brian . See you soon .
